Anchored is a clinical hypnotherapy and meditation app developed by Martin Hewlett, trading as Calming Anxiety. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

Anchored does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Your saved favourite episodes

• Your listening preferences and settings

• Your username (if you choose to set one)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Audio Content

Anchored streams audio content from Spreaker, our podcast hosting provider. When you stream an episode, your device makes a standard internet request to Spreaker's servers. Spreaker's own privacy policy applies to this connection. We do not receive any personally identifiable information from this process.

Advertising

The free tier of Anchored includes programmatic advertisements delivered within the audio stream by Spreaker. We do not operate or control these advertisements directly. Spreaker's advertising and privacy policies apply.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Any in-app purchases or subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information. Google Play's privacy policy governs all transaction data.

Third-Party Services

Anchored currently uses no third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

Anchored is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
